Flexible plastic bristles are inserted through porcupine quills, to create legs
Additional legs and foam are secured
Eyes are fine hollow glass beads
with mono-fishing line, melted at both ends
Realistic wings are in place, as well as a pair of antenna
Legs are bent using a heated needle or bodkin tip
