Sierra Fall Color

9/19/09 - A quick afternoon drive to the Southern Sierra, looking for the first signs of fall color. Aspen trees in this area are not as common as the Eastern Sierra, but it was worth the drive, because the trees above 9,000' elevation are changing color, and soon I'll make the longer trek to the east side where aspen are common.
