California Spring Wildflower Photography
April 3 2008
This looks inviting
A dry riverbed appears to flow with gold
Yellow and purple, Goldfields and Lupine
California blue and gold
Spring is in the air
Common Madia stands proud
Phacelia were in abundance
Close up view of a Lupine tip
I plan on learning the names of these flowers
Some of the flowers growing at ground level were amazingly small
And elegant
It was challenging photographing them in the wind
These are the only white Tidytips I found
Blue Dicks were blooming
Fiddlenecks were a common sight
I kind of like this photo
Same species as the previous photo
The sun was setting quickly behind the canyon walls
Stretching their necks for the final rays of sun
Fiddlenecks in the foreground, Goldfields on the hills, and many other in between
