button March 26th 2008 - California Wildflowers

I just arrived home from a trip up the central coast of California, visiting a factory in the Silicon Valley, and I'm glad I took my Nikon D200 with me. I knew the coastal scenery would be beautiful, but the fields and hillsides covered with wildflowers was an unexpected surprise. I pulled over to the side of the road several times to capture a few images.

Some of the hills were covered with various colors of wildflowers, with yellow and gold being the most common color
And the inland hills were covered with wildflowers
