Great Egret - Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve
I love exploring, observing and photographing Southern California's wild and natural bounty, including birds, fish, animals, wildflowers and landscapes, from the beaches to the mountains, from macro close-up views, to wide dramatic landscapes.
I am offering personalized nature photography lessons, allowing me to share my passion, while helping you to learn how to practice the thrill of capturing images that stir the soul.
Learn general rules of composition, exposure, auto and manual focus, controlled shutter speed, depth of field, background as important as subject, lens choices, filters, flash, and other techniques required to capture compelling photographs.
Typically, we don’t have to travel far, most of my bird photography is accomplished in the San Fernando Valley Sepulveda Basin and the Los Angeles Arboretum. Capturing the eyes, feathers and form of birds in flight is a great thrill.
Individual requests are accommodated with activities directed towards your needs and goals
