This was a fun and challenging project


Partridge Carrie Stevens size 4 10 extra long hook, bent into shape

A size 4 10 extra long hook was bent into shape using pliers

 

The tying process begins with a base layer of thread

It was challenging just wrapping thread around the bend

 

real gold thread, micro-chenille, pre-cut and colored foam strips as well as Jungle Cock and Peacock feathers were tyed onto the hook to begin forming the body

The head was shaped by building up layers of micro-chenille
