Fly
Fishing with Friends, November 2007

This is what the trip was all about,
catching and releasing beautiful brown trout

Day one, clouds part, and a rainbow emerges

My friend Brent, enjoying a fine fall day, fly fishing for brown
trout

Migrating flocks of geese flying overhead were common, noisy
and enjoyed

Some trees were strikingly colorful, while others were bare,
and ready for winter
Time for Fun, Fly Fishing and
Photography

I enjoyed fishing a fine Carlin split cane bamboo rod as well
as an 8wt GLX graphite

The fall colors were beautiful

I had fun photographing these fish

Trout willing to play were plentiful

Some smiled for the camera

Some were shy

This pretty girl knows she's hot

Poser

Yes, they have sharp teeth

Fly fishing sure is fun

I love catching beautiful little trout

I also enjoy catching the big one's as well

This is an average size brown trout from this years fall fly
fishing trip

Some off the big male brownies are heavy and powerful

Each individual brown trout has unique coloring, shape and spots,
all of which are beautiful

Often cold rainy days offer the best conditions for good brown
trout fishing

Pretty as a gem

This is my favorite workout exercise

Steelhead rainbow trout are icing on the cake when fishing for
brown trout

What a magnificent creature

My favorite fish of the year, a gorgeous orange brown trout with
large spots

A huge female brown trout

Releasing her and hoping we meet again next year...

A pair of gulls that thought they were eagles, seriously

I always feel confident when fishing next to my buddy, the heron

My favorite photo, a young fly fisher, Alex, caught and released
his first big brownie
