Bird Photography - Great White Egret Gallery

The Great Egret (Ardea alba), also known as the Great White Egret or Common Egret is a magnificent bird and always proves to be one of my favorite subjects to photograph.

All of the egret photos presented here were taken along the Los Angeles River system, except for the last image, a gorgeous Snowy Egret photographed flying alongside the pier at Balboa Peninsula in Orange County, just after sunrise.
